If there isn't a school building, where am I going to study?

The private instruction has flexibility to have class in almost any place in Xela. Starting from the kitchen table of your Guatemalan family, your teacher and you have a variety of option to choose from such as the parque central, cafés, etc. In addition, you will be less likely to tempted to revert back to English as you won't be surrounded by a group of English-speaking students as in case of many large Spanish schools.

Where can I go to use the Internet?

Xela has plenty of places around the city with the Internet access at reasonable price (Q2.5 - Q8/hour = $0.30 - $1.00/hour).

Isn't it difficult to meet other students if I don't go to a Spanish school?

We organize cultural activities every day of the week where you can meet other students. Our weekend trips are great ways to make friends also. And outside of the school, you might encounter a friend in the street as you wait for a "chicken bus," in a cafe, restaurant or in the place where you serve as a volunteer. Xela is a small and cozy city. It happens all the time.
