To enroll, each student must submit an application form, US$47 of administrative fee per week of study and one time deposit of $100**. If you'd like to volunteer, please add , US$37 per week of volunteering. (i.e. A total of US$147 for a week and US$194 for 2 weeks of study. A total of US$231 for 2 weeks of study and 1 week of volunteering.) The rest of your payment for your teacher, host family and volunteering organization is due after your arrival. This fee guarantees your reservation with

• the teacher of your choice including 5 hours a day, 5 days a week of 1-on-1 instruction with 30 minutes break
• the Guatemalan host family of your choice with a private room, 7 days a week with 3 meals a day except Sunday.
• the volunteer work with the organization of your choice.
• the 5 days of cultural activities.

If you prefer not to pay directly to the volunteer organization, teacher and host family, you can pay US$180 per week of study and one time deposit of $100**. In case of volunteering, please add US$200 per week.

When your application form and fee have been received, you will receive an email confirmation of your reservation. Please remember that if we do not receive your payment within 24 hours of receiving your application, your name will be automatically deleted.

**Note: The desposit of the $100 will be refunded in full (minus credit card transaction fee) to your Paypal account upon completion of your study. The deposit was a decision taken by the teachers and host families as several students with reservations had failed either to appear for their classes, or to inform us of their cancellation. If you wish to cancel, please do so THREE (3) weeks prior to your arrival. Then, the deposit will be refunded in full. Otherwise, in the event of a late cancellation or a failure to attend at the school without prior notification of cancellation, this payment is not refundable.

If you are not satisfied with your teacher, host family or volunteer organization by the end of your first day, we will find another arrangement by the next day with no extra charge.

Step 3: PAYMENT IN FULL TO YOUR TEACHER, HOST FAMILY, VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION IS DUE ON YOUR SECOND DAY. The payment should be paid directly to them on your SECOND day of the class/stay/volunteering.

Travel Information
Information on travel, visas, dress, climate, etc. will be sent upon receipt of your registration. It is preferable for you to arrive in Quetzaltenango by Sunday in order to get settled in with your family. On your first day of class, your Spanish teacher will come to your Guatemalan home to begin the lesson or you may be asked to meet with your teacher in front of the McDonald's at the Central Park.

Holidays
January 1, Good Friday, May 1, June 25, September 15, October 20, November 1, December 25. Holidays falling on a weekend are celebrated on the previous Friday.
