Message to a student: Learning another language after our first language is not easy regardless of the language you study. Spanish is a beautiful language with easy parts and hard parts just like any other language, but with practice, study and dedication, you can learn it and master it. And for your motivation, it's good to know that Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world, and with this language, you can be friends with people from many different cultures.
Why do you like teaching Spanish?
In the first place, that is because I have characteristics to teach such as: I like to teach, charisma, ability, patience, intelligence, knowledge and motivation. In the second place, it is because Spanish is my native language and I'd like many foreigners to learn it so that they can discover the beauty of our culture and our country, Guatemala.
What are the challenges of being a Spanish teacher?
Have the student learn what he/she has set out to learn, regardless of "memory disease," etc. Overcome our backwardness in education by individual efforts to be prepared.
How do you make your class interesting?
Making sure that learning objectives of the student is met and fill the expectation of the student.<
How was your favorite student?
The student who is eager to learn and is dedicated to try hard.
What do you do to grow as a professional and person?
Study conscientiously in the university. Take classes from various areas. Maintain constant contact with God. Think and analyze.
What is the best of Xela?
Its culture, nature and people.
What would you do if you have only one more week of life?
I will keep doing what I do always because it's what I like to do. And wait for God to pick me up.
What were you doing 15 years ago?
I guess I was doing what I liked to do like going to school, playing with my friends, being with my family.
What will you be doing in 15 years down the road?
I will be doing what I like doing bue I would be doing it better since I'd learned more in the 15 years.
Who is/was the most influential person in your life?
My daughter. She helped me improve my life. She helped me love more my life and be happier. I am better behaved and I'm more patient than before.
What is the Guatemala's biggest social issue?
Education because from there comes poverty, high birth rate, discrimination against women, alcoholism, drugs, delinquency, etc.
What do you propose to solve the Guatemala's problems?
Each one of us needs to teach what we know to others. Everyone should do his share by learning more and have government invest more in education.
