Salcajá

Salcajá is known for the first catholic church in Central America. Also, Salcajá is known for its production of caldo de frutas (fruit liquor), rompope (egg liquor), traditional cloth that are sold in various places around Guatemala, especially where indigenous women use them often. The big market place in Salcajá opens on Tuesday and Saturday where you can find foods, clothings, cattles and wide variety of utensils.
